Today it's going to be an all day rain here in the burgh, that's fine with me... Not that I can do anything about it anyway. At least we will not have to water the garden for a few days.
I originally had a dentist appointment today for my six month cleaning. Fortunately I watched the weather forecast this week and was able to move my appointment and see the dentist yesterday in 80°of sunshine.
You see, when you're a quadriplegic and travel by wheelchair, Rain is your enemy. If I could not reschedule the dental appointment, I would have had to cancel it. Even though the dentist is only a few blocks away I'm not driving there in a downpour. This is just one aspect of having a disability, everything requires a lot more planning.
