I can't believe my berries are doing so well already. The blackberries are loaded with berries and just beginning to turn red. Yesterday I was able to pick the first red raspberries (six) and they were delicious, so sweet! The red raspberries are my favorite and I cannot wait to enjoy several bowls very soon.

Greg, your berries do look ripe and ready. Do you have bears in your neighborhood? I ask because we have wild blackberry bushes along our property and the bears come out to eat them when they ripen. Of course, we abut the natl forest so that does make a difference. Nice photo.
I live in a small town, so the chance of seeing a black bear is almost zero. My parents had a black bear in their trash just recently, they live close to state game lands here in Pennsylvania.
I hope you post some pictures of your berries and the bears!

Yum!! We've been wanting to plant some fruit trees/bushes in our yard. Those look great.
