Upside Down Tomato

Here is a picture as promised of my upside down tomato. Petunia's were planted in the top of the bucket, but did not bloom yet. By planting flowers in the top I can easily see when to water the bucket. It does not look like much now, but I will post another picture when it's full of tomatoes.

I'll have to ask my mother in law if hers has started growing yet....

Thanks, it is nice to see a visual. I have sweet potatos growing in a similiar (recovered) bucket since burrowing animals took our onions. I can't wait to see your progress. VR, Mal

I've seen the upside down containers advertised on TV and just for $19.99 plus ... but if you order now you can get 2 for the price. . .wondered if I could improvise and if it was really a better way to go or grow or whatever:)

$20.00 buys a lot of buckets and tomato's... I just drilled a 1'' hole in the bottom of a cheap bucket.
