5 seconds

(Nala as a puppy)

My service dog Nala must think I am faster than a speeding bullet. Whenever I leave her outside she comes back to the door and sits. Then she paws once on the door and waits approximately 5 seconds then paws a second time.... like hey, I'm out here.

When I do open the door she waits to be invited in... Seriously, you have to call her in like Dracula. Her training taught her not to go through doors without a command.

I know she thinks of me as her service person, I probably would not have it any other way.
