Klingensmith Health Care

I was out the other evening and ran into a couple of guys from Klingensmith healthcare. Although I have not used their services I plan on it in the future and here's the reason why.

When I talk to people about rehabilitation or durable health care products, some people get it and other people never will. I quickly got the sense from these two guys that they understood what rehabilitation was all about and were really concerned with their clients needs....

Has anyone used this company? Any thoughts or ideas?

It's always nice to run into rehabilitation professionals who advocate for their clients not against them.

Sadly I have never met a rehab professional that put the needs of a client before an institution or profit margin in the case of the durable medical goods industry. I suppose people like this exist in theory I just have not met them. Sure I have encountered many wonderful people, OTs and PTs in particular, but rehab is a business whether for profit in the case of durable medical goods or non profit like most hospitals. Harsh yes but it reflects reality as I have seen and experienced it.

Your point is well taken, but I was mainly talking about the people not necessarily the industry.

It's rare when I talk with a provider who understands the urgency in responding to wheelchair repairs etc.

It's a business, I completely understand and agree. But first impression, I liked these guys.

I've been waiting nearly 2 weeks for Klingensmith to address the issue of my broken CPAP machine. I hope you have better luck - I guess every dept is different.
