This weekend I could not buy a sports victory..... the Pitt Panthers were leading by 21 points on Saturday and ended up losing by one in the final minute of the Big East championship.
Saturday night the Penguins lost in overtime after tying the game in the final minutes.........
Sunday was the worst, the Steelers lost to the Raiders in the final minute, taking their record to six and six, losing four games in a row. Their playoff chances are almost nonexistent.
What has happened to the Steelers defense? They are unable to stop opponents in the fourth quarter, period. I have to face the fact that the Steelers are not a championship team this year. They have lost to some really inferior teams or at least that's what I thought of Cincinnati, Kansas City and the Raiders at the beginning of the season.

The one time I actually root for Pitt....what a letdown that game was. Hubby and I were both yelling at the tv! And he's a Miami U fan! lol
The Penguin game Saturday...omg!!! I'm not that let down about it because of the fact that they played a good game and tied it up near the end, but it's always upsetting to lose a game..lol
As for the Steelers, said to hubby last night that they won't make the playoffs or if they do, they won't get far. It can't just be that Polamalu is out...the defense can't revolve solely around him...can it? While I absolutely love Polamalu, I can't see one person meaning THAT much to a defense. Didn't get to see the game here in NY, and that was probably for the best, cuz I suspect, my husband's beloved 32 inch flat screen tv, would have come into some harm if I were watching it.
At least PSU didn't play this weekend!!! lmao
