It's a very stressful week, my mom is in the hospital..... She had emergency surgery late Tuesday evening resulting in a colostomy. She's currently in ICU.... the good news is she survived the surgery, and is off the ventilator. The bad news is her kidney function is very poor. Along with her existing respiratory issues I really don't know what to think.
Have you ever been afraid to answer the phone? That's what the last few days have been like around here. I spent yesterday at the hospital, and for me, it never gets easier going through the doors. The sights, sounds and smells of hospitals.... it's never a good thing.

Sorry to hear about your Mom being so sick, Greg. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom's troubles. I'll keep you and her in my prayers. I've been there a couple times with my mom being told she wouldn't make it through the night but she's still here. Hospitals are no fun for sure.

I am so very sorry to hear about your mother. I know this is extremely stressful. Please keep posting updates for both of you. I'll keep you both in my thoughts.

Oh Greg....I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. It's never easy to deal with a sick parent. I remember all to well watching my dad just wither away for lack of a better term. It's hard.
But, I'm hopeful that since your mom not only made it through the surgery ok, but is already off of her ventilator that she will be just fine. Hang in there...if you need to talk, I'm always here. {hugs}
