Funeral process

I made it through the funeral process, although it was very difficult to say the least. I spoke with some very good friends which made it easier.... Thanks for coming those of you that could.

I had a good relationship with my mom and spoke with her almost every day. I'm very sorry to see her go but I am thankful she is no longer in pain or suffering. In the end it's about quality of life, everything else doesn't really matter.

Hi Greg,
I'm glad your mom's funeral went well even though it must have been very difficult for you. It's lovely that you had a good relationship with your mom. Thinking of you.

Hi Greg,

You're right, and I'm glad you had the support of good friends at this time. I hope the support continues as you grieve.

Please let your blog buddies know how you're doing. It has been over a decade since I lost my mother and some things, like her birthday still get me a bit chocked up. I hope you'll remember to take especially good care of yourself now.

Peace to you and your family...

Greg, I had the same kind of relationship with my dad. We were best friends and when he passed away 7 years ago, it nearly ripped my heart out. But, I knew he would want me to be strong and so I was. How, I don't know, but I did it.

If ya wanna talk, I'm here. {hugs}
