Wednesday's Ramblings

It's hard for me to believe it's almost the end of August already, is it me or did this summer fly by ? I have so much planned for September and October that I'm excited to see fall come this year. October has always been my favorite month, the perfect temperatures, the perfect fall foliage and of course the start of hockey season, football season and archery season!

About two weeks ago I talked about the Muslim Mosque controversy in New York City at Ground Zero. Since President Obama talked about the issue recently it is becoming a hot topic again and may play into the elections in November.

Why did the Pilgrims come to America?  To escape religious persecution, our country was founded on the belief that people could practice their own religion....

I believe the mosque has every right to be built. I'm not going to backpedal and say it may not be the wisest decisions, like Pres. Obama said. They own the building, they have every right to build a mosque. What are your thoughts?

If you are against building the mosque, please explain why, I'm interested in hearing your opinion.

I miss the fall season in the North East. The yellows, reds, golds, browns of the changing leaves kinda has me longing for a visit.

I wrote about the mosque on my blog a couple of days agao. It is a good idea? I don't know. Can we keep the Islam faith from America? I don't think we should. It is private property so, how can we tell the owner what they are putting there?

Good Morning,
