Physical Therapy

Besides the neurological pain that is constant in my arms I also experience contractures.  Misty Morning is doing her best to stretch my arms.... she does not have a Doctorate in physical therapy but she's doing her best !

Bless her, she's so sweet!

I meant to ask Greg, were you able to keep Nala or has she gone to a retirement home? You haven't mentioned her for a while and I'm wondering if I missed a post somewhere?

It was a hard choice but Nala retired and is now living with my friend Sally... I could not keep up with two.

Ah I did wonder. It's a very tough decision I know. My previous job with guide dogs was as rehoming officer and I rehomed many retired guide dogs when owners weren't able to keep two dogs, so have seen first hand how difficult a decision it is. I genuinely feel for you, but I also know that it is usually the best decision and the retired dogs adapt really really well to their new lives. I have seen too many people struggle along with two dogs, not able to do justice to either, or to themselves for that matter. In the five years I rehomed retired dogs I didn't have a single one that didn't settle in their new home. You have my sympathy for having to make such a choice, and also my respect for making it.
