This is the fourth table I've had in this space in recent months. I find little tables, think "it's perfect for our small entry" and, well, they just haven't been perfect. Either too short, too wide, or too ugly to fix. LOL!I came up on this one at a thrift shop and loved it's character. But before I decided what to do with it, I wanted to make sure it was a good fit. Here is our entry. The corner under the initial plaque is where the table will sit.
And here is the finished table in all of her two-toned glory. I think I've mentioned several times that I've been dying to do a 2 tone piece. This was my chance. I also branched out and used Behr glaze with a bit of dark walnut stain for tinting.
Your eyes are not decieving you...the circles in the center are not even. I guess that's what you get with older pieces.
