Pretty in Particle Board

This is a long, low console made of particle board. It's cute, no?? Great bones...just needed some updating. I usually pass by pieces like this because they aren't solid wood, but this one might change my mind! I went out and bought myself a brand spankin' new orbital sander. WHAT was I waiting for?? I am in love with it...it goes sooo much faster than using a sanding block. Duh, right? So I sanded this piece down, primed with Benjamin Moore Fresh Start high adhesion primer and then painted several coats of a creamy white. I glazed with ebony stain and now I think it looks so fresh and classy!
