My littlest one got ear tubes put in and adenoids taken out on Wed and my biggest one got his cast OFF! Now summer can start!
I have been working on this piece on and off for a few months. I found it at a church rummage sale where we got married...I think it was back in May...for $7. It's a sewing cabinet that was the perfect size for the guest room night stand.
I needed it to go with the headboard I made here, so I thought silver would be a fun choice. I sprayed it silver...and it was way too shiny. But I didn't have another plan, so it sat in the garage for a few months.
I tried this nightstand instead, and it was too small. I still loved the shape of the silver nighstand, so I toned it down a bit with ebony stain as glaze. I WISH I could put new knobs on it...but these were part of the piece...each piece was part of the drawer and weren't coming off without a fight. So I went with it.
PS. Can someone kick me into finding a bedskirt that works? Ugly!
And check out these thrifty finds!!! EEEK!
This table was $5.99....can you stand it?!?!?
And I've been wanting to do a campaign piece...and I found this one today. Perfect for an entry!
